What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Amurcon Realty Company?
Tax credit apartment community in Henrico West End needs dependable, detailed oriented individual. Must have Tax Credit Recertification Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must process Recertification/Renewals monthly.
- Inquiries about late payments and assists in handling any eviction issues
- Interviews new prospective tenants.
- Processes applications, conducts credit checks and calls references..
- Addresses and promptly resolves questions, requests, and complaints from tenants.
- Inspects property on a regular basis to assess condition of buildings and grounds, and to ensure that empty units are ready for new tenants.
- Reports any problems or issues to property manager.
- Manages records and files of current tenants.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrates the strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties.
- Proficient in basic computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrates familiarity with ONESITE software used to balance budget and track payments.
- Must be willing and able to travel to between property sites.
- Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently.
- Exhibits solid communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints.
- Works well with a team.
- Interacts and engages in a friendly manner with potential and current tenants.
- Demonstrates ability to think creatively,
Must have dependable transportation. Must pass background and drug test.
