Internal Communication Specialist
The Internal Communication Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and executing internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, align messaging with corporate vision, mission and values, and foster cohesive workplace culture. This role requires a highly skilled communicator to own and manage key communication platforms, events, and materials that drive alignment and engagement across the organization. The position also involves supporting HR with developing quality templates, materials, and presentations, along with other duties to assist in organizational alignment and communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans that align with AMVAC’s corporate vision, mission, and values to drive employee engagement and organizational transparency
- Serve as the owner of the company’s intranet / SharePoint content and develop internal communication templates and materials for leadership, including quality presentations, forums, and templates
- Utilize LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms to drive internal culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Fully own the coordination, content creation, and execution of quarterly town halls and employee communication forums
- Develop high-quality internal communication materials and templates for leadership ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goal
- Work closely with senior leadership to create and deliver impactful communications that resonate with employees at all levels
- Draft, edit, and distribute communications, including newsletters, emails, memos, intranet updates, and announcements
- Develop feedback channels to measure the effectiveness of internal communication and identify areas for improvement
- Utilize digital tools and platforms to enhance communication delivery and engagement
- Assist with HR administrative tasks such developing quality templates, material and material presentations
- Provide logistical and communication support for HR initiatives such as training sessions, recruitment campaigns, and policy rollouts
THE PERSON: Knowledge Base and Experience
- 3 years of experience in internal and external communications, corporate communications, or a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audience
- Highly articulate and able to engage with Senior leadership team as needed
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and digital communication platforms (e.g., email marketing tools)
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

The American Vanguard corporate office is located directly across from Orange County Airport (SNA) with easy freeway access and amenities including gym access, Café and picnic areas. This is an on-site position.
