Lead Responsibilities
- Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the
- District; receive, process and issue warehouse stock; assure stock and warehouse
- facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
- Train, provide work direction and coordinate the schedules and activities of shipping and stocking supplies.
- assigned personnel; assist in training workers in computer operations and filling,
- KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Modern warehousing and storekeeping procedures including shipping, receiving
- and issuing materials, proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures
- Materials, equipment and supplies used in logistics and supply chain operations
- Proper lifting techniques.
- Record-keeping techniques.
- Health and safety regulations.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
- Inventory methods and practices.

- Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities
- Receive, store, pick-up and distribute supplies, materials and equipment.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Establish and maintain effective storekeeping procedures.
- Train and provide work direction to others.
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and accurately.
- Operate a computer terminal.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Lift heavy objects.
- Maintain records, inventory and prepare reports.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Warehouse worker will participate in warehouse operations and activities as assigned. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. Tasked with increasing efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; communicate with supervisor or other lead personnel to arrange for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as needed
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- 1-3 years’ experience as a warehouse worker (depending on experience and specific requirements of assigned responsibilities)
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift experience (license)
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
