Job Title: Commercial Driver
Job Summary:
A Commercial Driver is responsible for safely operating a front-end load (FEL) truck and providing courteous waste removal services to customers on designated routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met, including tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment checks.
- Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes, following maps and service schedules.
- Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members to ensure timely and professional service.
- Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to departmental procedures.
- Monitor waste for unacceptable content and clean up accidental spills while adhering to safety standards.
- Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it's operational and ready to minimize downtime.
- Complete route productivity sheets, DVIR, and other reports as required.
- Maintain adherence to productivity standards and follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks (at least 2 years).
- Holding a Class B CDL license.
- Experience in auto-loading garbage trucks is preferred but not required.
