Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
- Safely operate heavy trucks along designated routes, reading route sheets and servicing customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure all customer routes are serviced efficiently.
- Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to departmental procedures.
- Monitor waste for unacceptable content and clean up spills as needed.
- Maintain the condition of the vehicle to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness.
- Complete required reports and adhere to productivity standards to ensure efficient service delivery.
- FOLLOW ALL REQUIRED SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
- Hold a Class B CDL license.
