Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station. Key responsibilities include performing pre- and post-operation inspections of the equipment, operating various machinery such as forklifts, excavators and bulldozers, monitoring waste quality and reporting any necessary repairs to the supervisor.
