Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Driver to operate our front-end load (FEL) truck and provide exceptional waste removal services to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely navigating our designated routes, interacting with customers, and adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with Company policy and state and federal regulations. Identify any safety issues and report them promptly.
Safely operate the FEL truck along designated routes, servicing each customer as identified on the route sheet or assigned by dispatchers and supervisors. Provide courteous interactions with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely and professional service.
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them according to departmental procedures, and continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste. Clean areas around accidental waste spills, adhering to all applicable safety standards and policies.
Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure operational readiness at all times, minimizing downtime. Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip. Complete required route/productivity sheets, DVIR, and other reports as needed.
Requirements
- Experience and Qualifications
TWO years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks. Possession of a valid Class B CDL. Experience in auto-loading garbage trucks is preferred but not required.
