This is a part time position 2nd shift, working an average of 20-30 hours a week. The ideal candidate will be able to work most weekends and afternoon / evening shifts.

SUMMARY
Greet and assist all guests who visit any of the retail outlets. This position will rotate between "Plaza Essentials" as well as "Grand Kids."
Qualified candidates will need to be able to quickly identify and locate products that a guest might need to purchase as well as being able to offer suggestions and alternatives. Assist with receiving and processing merchandise so that products can move from the store room to the sales floor quickly and efficiently. In addition, be able to process monetary transactions and account for all monies at the conclusion of your shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Be comfortable interacting with guests and directing them as needed.
- Operates cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Assists in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, stocking of beverage order, displays and organization of merchandise.
- Completes cash balance, production and other reports as directed.
- Responsible for answering telephone in professional manner and handling requests appropriately.
- Sorts and prices merchandise in accordance to quality and pricing guideline.
- Attend departmental meetings.
- Follow AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures.
- Actively working, always looking for ways to assists guests and going above and beyond to provide guest service.
- Ensuring the quality and level of service that the General Manager, Manager on Duty and guests expect is excellent and follows our company standards and policies.
- Reads and understands all memos that pertain to the retail department.
- Uses other AHC hotels and staff as resources.
- Must be or become TIPS certified.
- Complete all daily responsibilities / cleaning task list.
