UPS Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining store operations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are well-organized and displayed attractively.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain phone etiquette while answering customer calls and addressing their concerns professionally.
• Promote sales of products through effective communication and selling techniques.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is advantageous for managing transactions accurately.
