Regional Operations Manager
AmWest Ambulance serves Sacramento County, Stanislaus County, San Joaquin County, Merced County, and the Sierra-Sacramento area; we seek qualified candidates to fill the Regional Operations Manager position. Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Regional Manager to oversee operations, business development, and compliance for our ambulance services in our Northern California Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, budgeting, and operations, with experience in business development and a comprehensive understanding of labor laws and HR practices. This role requires a charismatic leader with a proactive approach to ensuring operational excellence and fostering a positive work culture. This role answers to the COO and President of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Direct and coordinate operations across multiple locations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Implement and monitor operational policies, protocols, and quality assurance standards to achieve optimal performance and patient care.
- Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for assigned regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial objectives.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement cost-control strategies to meet or exceed budgetary targets.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the region, including expansion of services, partnership development, and community outreach.
- Work with senior management to establish strategic goals and initiatives that drive regional growth and market presence.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including industry standards and company policies.
- Oversee regulatory compliance initiatives, maintain proper documentation, and stay informed on regulatory changes affecting ambulance services.
- Human Resources and Labor Law Compliance:
- Implement HR policies across locations to ensure compliance with labor laws, including fair hiring practices, wage laws, and health and safety regulations.
- Oversee workforce management, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, in coordination with the HR team.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to location managers and other regional staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Drive employee engagement and satisfaction through effective communication, recognition programs, and professional development opportunities.
- Performance Management and Reporting:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency, employee productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance, budget adherence, and project outcomes to senior management.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
