IT Support Administrator
MUST BE LOCAL AND WORK AT OFFICE. We are seeking an on-site IT Support Administrator to work directly with our IT & Web Development team. Private office with multiple monitor setup will be provided. Must have transportation and be able to provide on-site assistance at our other properties on occasion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage our on-premise/cloud websites, SAAS Services and API Integrations (Ebay, Amazon, Sellbrite, payment gateways, etc.). Applicant will be working with Office 365 Apps (Power Automate, Planner, etc.).
- Manage our VMs (VMware) running Windows Workstations and Linux/Windows Servers.
- Manage Hardware such as Servers, Workstations, Thin Clients, NAS Drives, Routers/Firewalls, Switches, WiFi Access Points, Printers, Scanners, Mobile Devices, Smart Hubs, 100 IP Cameras and other Network Devices.
- Manage email, communication and automation systems such as Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, etc.) and work with our on-premise SIP/VOIP system (3CX) when needed.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS.
- Maintain Global Backups with retention schedules, recovery times and test restores.
- Apply OS/software patches and updates, install and update antivirus/anti-malware tools and investigate security incidents and breaches.
- Monitor network infrastructure with various methods using our NOC tool (Zabbix), check system performance (CPU, RAM, disk, network) and check logs for errors (Event Viewer, Syslog, SIEM tools).
- Monitor multiple locations via SDWAN and traditional VPN tunnels.
- Support user accounts, permissions and access rights in Active Directory and/or Linux environments.
- Provide comprehensive end-user support, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
- Assist staff using on-premise apps such as MS Office, Quickbooks, etc.
- Perform workstation/server teardowns and setup as needed and maintain proper System/Network Documentation.
REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years mid-level IT administration experience.
- Familiarity with core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, subnets, firewalls, and routing.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (virtualization, storage, backups).
- Ability to work with both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to help after hours when needed for emergency/important system disruptions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications are considered but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasionally required to work in server rooms or elsewhere moving physical equipment up to 50 pounds and running cables

- High School or equivalent (Preferred)
