- Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
- Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies
- Remain up to date with new insurance companies' offers and how to leverage them
- Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based in trust and relationship building
- Mentor and train new team members
- 5-7 years of E&S binding authority experience
- Pursuant to New York City regulation, the base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000, plus an industry-leading bonus plan
- Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred
- Knowledge of the sales process and pipeline management
- Ability to travel
- Licensed preferred
- Compensation includes a competitive base plus an industry-leading bonus plan
