PURPOSE: The Senior Analytics Analyst will build and maintain pharmacy reporting for key Amwins Rx pharmacy benefit management (PBM) initiatives. Examples of these initiatives include pharmacy claims pricing validation, rebate reporting, regulatory support, and analytics process improvement. They will work closely with other team members to collaborate and support team processes. They will partner with key business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end processes are built accurately and maintained.

PURPOSE: The Senior Analytics Analyst will build and maintain pharmacy reporting for key Amwins Rx pharmacy benefit management (PBM) initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Build reports and analytics through team leadership guidance
- Prepare data files and support the maintenance of team data sources
- Collaborate with internal IT and business departments to capture key requirements for successful analytics development
- Support ad-hoc and reoccurring work as needed
- Design, build, and maintain business intelligence reporting in collaboration with team leadership
- Partner with team leadership to ensure data environment is maintained and accurate
- Continually focus on growing technical skills related to reporting tools and coding languages
- Develop and maintain knowledge of department practices and our unique data structures
- Partner with leadership and other key business contacts to ensure industry knowledge is developed and maintained

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ experience in pharmacy benefit management, health insurance, or related industry
- Experience with pharmacy or healthcare claims data
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Intermediate to expert in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other database languages
- Intermediate to expert in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tool, preferred
- Knowledge of health insurance and PBM industry pricing practices, preferred
- Knowledge of clinical drug information or manufacturer rebates, preferred
