Responsibilities:
As a Claims Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Data Management: Maintain and review all data received by the Claims department, distributing it to the appropriate individuals on the Claims team.
- Security Log Maintenance: Update the security log for access to all PHI data.
- Claim Notifications: Review and process Large Claim Notifications, delivering them to all appropriate parties.
- Payment Handling: Record and distribute all Claim payments received to designated Claim Analysts.
- Clerical Support: Assist with filing and other clerical duties as needed.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school degree required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively with both internal and external parties.
- Adaptability: Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
