Join our Amwins Access team in Morehead City as an Insurance Assistant!
This position is internally titled Associate Underwriter. This position is a full-time, in-office role in our Morehead City, NC office.

Each Insurance Assistant provides vital team functions:
- New and renewal account information gathering
- Preparation of quotes, cover notes, binders, certificates, policies and tax filings
- Checks and verifies for accuracy all completed documents
- Participate in travel and networking events with retailers and underwriters such as lunches, dinners, golf events, charity events, etc
- Requesting and keeping track of missing information from outside sources
- Assistance in accounting procedures such as invoicing
- Receive and respond to calls/requests from underwriters and retail producers concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
We are looking for people with:
- Experience as support staff in an office environment or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- Exceptional communication skills, organization, professionalism and customer-service mentality
- Excellent computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Outlook
