Responsibilities
As a Lead Claims Auditor, you will:
- Build Relationships: Develop and manage claims service relationships with internal Sales Executives, Account Executives, and Account Managers.
- Professional Communication: Communicate professionally and timely with carriers, administrators, clients, and brokers.
- Process Improvement: Assess Analyst processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of the claim reimbursement process.
- Workload Management: Plan, prioritize, and complete day-to-day workload for assigned accounts, considering new and renewal business, and day-to-day service responsibilities.
- Training and Development: Assist in the ongoing training and development of Claims Analysts and Senior Claims Analysts on the team.
- Review and Guidance: Review and provide guidance on claim submissions, correspondence, and processes completed by the team.
- Team Engagement: Engage in proactive and regular dialogue with team members, addressing performance concerns and additional training needs.
- Effective Communication with Management: Communicate regularly with the Claims Manager regarding team needs or concerns, processing issues, trends, and efficiency suggestions.
- Claim Management: Maintain claim management responsibilities for the assigned book of business.
- Adaptability and Leadership: Handle other duties and projects as assigned, showcasing adaptability and strong leadership skills.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Thorough Business Understanding: A thorough understanding of Stealth’s business model and the products we work with.
- Education and Experience: A college degree and 2 to 3 years of equivalent work experience are preferred.
- Leadership Experience: 1-3 years of strong leadership and/or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Auditing Experience: Experience in auditing and/or quality assessment programs is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external parties.
