Each Renewal Underwriter Provides Vital Team Functions
- Review accounts 45 days prior to expiration for eligibility per underwriting guidelines including review claims reports
- Work within Underwriting Guidelines and applicable Underwriter Letter of Authority to classify and rate an account at renewal in order to provide renewal terms
- Review renewal applications to confirm that information is appropriate to proceed in underwriting actions
- Re-rate and formulate renewal quotes for all renewal accounts assigned
- Receive referral approval from Renewal Management/Senior Underwriting on all accounts that are not within the Renewal Underwriter’s Letter of Authority
- Expected to communicate any accounts that may be in jeopardy of being lost at renewal to Renewal Management
- Monitoring account pricing and rate at renewal to ensure that appropriate rate goals are maintained
- Review and provide bind order details to Underwriting Assistants for binding/issuance
- Complete Quality Assurance and Quality Control review on all bind orders/quotes
- Foster positive working relationships with wholesale brokers
- Foster positive working relationships with ProFinity’s new business underwriting team to fully understand the renewal accounts
- Utilize time management abilities in a fast-paced, high volume environment, which includes organizing, multitasking and triaging account priority
- Responsible for endorsement requests during term of policy
- Review renewal account subjectivities as they are received for accuracy and acceptability
- Review underlying policies as they are received for accuracy and acceptability
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- 1-3 years of insurance related experience or equivalent bachelor's degree
Salary : $26 - $36
