We are seeking a dedicated UAT Coordinator to serve as an individual contributor responsible for coordinating all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This role ensures that solutions meet business needs and are ready for operational implementation. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations for the Business Engagement Team, the UAT Coordinator will collaborate with Product Owners, service teams, and other stakeholders to design, coordinate, and execute UAT while capturing and actioning feedback to ensure operational readiness.

- UAT Planning and Service Team Readiness
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and operational teams to define UAT requirements and objectives from a business perspective.
- Learn and understand the services, processes, and operational workflows to effectively plan and execute UAT activities.
- Align UAT activities with project milestones and operational schedules.
- Prepare service teams for testing by providing tailored resources, guidance, and support.
- Ensure operational teams are equipped and ready for implementation by integrating UAT activities into broader business readiness plans.
- Test Case and Script Development
- Create detailed test scripts, including positive and negative test scenarios, to validate business processes and user experiences.
- Continuously learn the evolving business processes and operational requirements to develop relevant and accurate test scripts.
- Ensure test cases align with operational goals and service delivery standards.
- UAT Execution and Coordination
- Facilitate UAT activities with operational teams, ensuring real-world testing reflects end-user needs.
- Gather feedback and validate functionality with service teams during testing.
- Adapt to new processes and feedback during UAT to refine test cases and improve overall testing quality.
- Consolidate and document test results, addressing areas for improvement and aligning outcomes with business goals.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects, particularly those affecting operational processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to address issues while communicating findings to key stakeholders.
- Learn the root causes of defects through collaboration with service teams and development, ensuring future process improvements.
- Record potential future enhancements or adjustments for the product backlog.
- Go/No-Go Decision Support
- Evaluate UAT results and provide readiness recommendations based on operational testing outcomes.
- Secure alignment on implementation readiness by addressing gaps and unresolved issues.
- Handoff and Training Readiness
- Oversee the transition of completed work from development to service teams, ensuring documentation is thorough and accessible.
- Support the creation of training materials and ensure service teams are well-prepared for implementation and post-go-live support.
- Learn from the implementation and post-go-live phases to improve future training and handoff processes.
- Smoke Testing (Post-Implementation)
- Coordinate occasional weekend smoke testing to identify production issues and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure comprehensive post-implementation testing.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize UAT efficiency and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Continuously learn from past UAT cycles, applying lessons learned to refine processes and enhance future testing efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of UAT processes and results to inform future projects and support knowledge sharing.
- Proven experience in UAT coordination, quality assurance, or a related role, emphasizing operational team support.
- Strong understanding of business processes and service delivery operations.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new services, operational processes, and tools.
- Familiarity with business operations and the flexibility to understand and implement new processes, services and tools (Amlink, Onbase, Nuance etc.).
- Experience preparing service teams for testing and implementation readiness.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational needs.
- Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or TestRail is preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in UAT, operations-focused roles, or quality assurance.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual contributor.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and align testing activities with operational objectives.
- Strong focus on problem-solving and improving operational processes.
