Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our Optometric office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a servant's heart with a willingness to learn. There will be opportunities to cross train and learn multiple skills in a drama free enviroment.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Schedule appointments using EMR.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Scheduling referrals.
- Provide information about services offered and answer patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Insurance varification.
- Dispensing Contact lenses.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
