Insurance Account Manager
The Amy Newland Agency of American Family Insurance is looking for a positive, motivated individual to join our team as a full time Account Managerin Colorado Springs, CO.

An Account Manager is someone who works directly with our clients and builds relationships. With a focus on the customer service side of the insurance sales cycle, you will manage and nurture customer relationships, and lead all client communications. Responsibilities include, but not minutes to, responding to customer inquiries, explaining coverage and premiums, informing clients on any policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster. Account managers work closely with the rest of the team to enable ongoing and future sales or renewals.

Required Education & Experience
• High School Diploma
• A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance license within agreed time of hiring offer (30 Days) & life license (90 days from original hire date)
• A candidate does not officially start until P&C licensed
Primary Job Functions & Activities:
• Service Related:
o Rate Changes
o Claims issues
o Assist with incoming phone calls
o Help with billing issues and policy transactions
o Conduct Personal Insurance Reviews
o Other items to deliver outstanding customer experience
• Sales Related: The Primary role of the Account Manager is to maintain our current customers. Here are a few of those activities:
o Cross-sell while assisting current customers:
▪ Life insurance
o Work with customers to use technology and tools that benefit them
o Follow up with customers after sales to complete the sales process
o Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
o Create brokerage quotes & applications, especially those with Foremost, Vacant Express, and American Modern
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base bonuses
o Base Salary is $45,000-$55,000 depending on experience

Schedule:
• Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
