Position Overview: The Carpenter Helper/Apprentice will assist experienced carpenters in various stages of construction, including framing, installing structures, and finishing. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop valuable carpentry skills under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Transport and prepare materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks as directed, including sanding, drilling, and fastening.
• Support the team in erecting scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
• Learn and apply building codes and best practices in construction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in carpentry and construction.
• Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites in the Seattle area.

Compensation: $25-$29/hour. Compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
