Senior Geospatial Information Systems Analyst

Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Geospatial Information Systems Analyst to support our USTRANSCOM TGIS contract at Scott Air Force Base. The Senior GIS Analyst will engineer, maintain, and support GIS data sets, applicable to USTRANSCOM’s transportation infrastructure, deployments, and distribution analyses.

Responsibilities

•Create infrastructure maps to answer requests for information, provide situational awareness to include in USTRANSCOM Battle Update Briefings for exercises and major USTRANSCOM response events, as determined by the USTRANSCOM CIP manager.•Post key products to the Enterprise GIS Catalog, Distribute.mil, SharePoint, or other collaborative mediums as directed.•Create and maintain a single sign on capability (Common Access Card [CAC] authentication) to access the ArcGIS portal.•Administer the ArcGIS Portal instantiation.•Implement ArcGIS portal configurations, conduct geospatial analysis and other logistical mission management displays as needed to enhance exercise planning, mission support and response initiatives.•Create geospatial mapping of key transportation infrastructures and related SDDC and TCJ3 information data layers.•Provide on-site support during normal business hours to create, manage, manipulate, and train operational users and keep•Update and maintain static data layers and REST endpoints consumed by the GIS system•Catalog and publish data layers for consumption by other GIS systems or individual users•Create webapps and other data analytics dashboards to monitor operations and support future planning using GIS data•Federate the TGIS ESRI portal with other DoD portal environments COP-related products up to date and tailored for the current needs of the mission focus.

Supported Technology: ESRI ArcGIS, AWS, Oracle, Microsoft Office, Cloud Developer Tools, SQL, Earth Resources Data Analysis System (ERDAS), Imagine/Softcopy Exploitation Toolkit (SOCET), Geospatial eXploitation Product (GXP), Python, .Net, Java

Qualifications

Required:

• 10 years of experience• Secret Level Clearance • Experience working on a Geospatial related project• Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) Certification• BA/BS in technical/related field
