About the Opportunity
Amyx is seeking a skilled Senior Portfolio Manager to support Product Lead MilTech Solutions at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland.
This position requires occasional travel (<5%) and involves supporting a large IT service program encompassing application development, maintenance, administration, and management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex integrated systems, developing IT system portfolio management solutions to support inventory reduction, the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture, and other government initiatives.
They must possess a deep understanding of portfolio management tools and concepts, as well as experience with various technologies, including milSuite, Document Management, Project Management, Single Interface to the Field, Personnel Accountability, Instant Messaging/Broadcast Capability, Decision Support Tools, Fortify, Enterprise Search and Discovery, Business Intelligence, and Custom Application Development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline
- Thorough knowledge of the Acquisition program life cycle, Army Portfolio Management System (APMS), Federal Information Assurance Act (FISMA), and interrelations of each functional discipline
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact with system users, translate requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements, and design
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline; DAWIA Level III in Program Management or PMP Certification; Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline
- Experience deploying large-scale hardware and software systems enhancements/upgrades for organizations with distributed geographic sites; experience with current/emerging network and infrastructure management technologies/business practices
