Job Summary
The Company is seeking an experienced Financial and Accounting Leader to oversee the financial and accounting activities for the corporation and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Prepare and communicate monthly financial reports to the Board of Directors and management team
- Maintain cost accounting standards and develop certified cost/pricing data compliant with the FAR
- Work with operational and business teams to establish budgets and forecasts
- Analyze job and contract costing compared to plan
- Periodic reviews and adjustments to the pricing model based on financial results
- Overall business financial analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Ensure timely and consistent preparation of year-end financial statements, bank reporting, financial analyses, and other reports requested by management
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Familiarity with GAAP and experience in finance and/or accounting in a manufacturing company
- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and develop staff
- Competent with computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
