Job Summary
As a Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating production workflow to ensure the efficient and timely completion of manufacturing orders. You will play a key role in optimizing production schedules and resource allocation to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts and customer orders
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement of materials as needed
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles
- Utilize necessary software and programs.
- Assist in shipping department as needed
- Preparing materials as needed for production jobs
- Collaborate with plant management to prioritize production tasks and resolve scheduling conflicts
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
