To help accomplish this mission, we are searching for a production associate responsible for assisting with activities associated with our coating operation. This may include masking parts, mechanical cleaning of parts, loading and unloading parts to and from their coating process. Job also may include counting, sorting, assembling and packing of parts.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with sandblasting machinery and procedures. Removing rust, paint, and imperfections/preparing surfaces for painting, coating, or other treatments. If you have a background in construction, automotive, or industrial manufacturing we encourage you to apply.
Duties
- Follow machine start up and shut down procedures
- Meet or exceed scheduled blast work for a given period while maintaining high-quality production
- Load and unload work areas
- Read and follow guidelines, work instructions, SOPs, and specifications
- Count all parts to ensure physical parts match paperwork
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment
- Change out and dispose of machine’s media as necessary to ensure proper cleaning is being achieved
- Set up blast room for maximum efficiency
- Use proper lifting tools to load and unload machines
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools and sandblasting equipment.
- Knowledge of trim carpentry, masonry, frame carpentry, and general maintenance person skills is preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain structures or fixtures with precision.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with safety practices in construction environments is essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
