Job Overview
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Inglewood, CA, 90301
Shift: Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30)
Contract: 8 weeks
Note:
Expectations to float between med/surg and telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide catheter care and maintain accurate patient records using medical terminology.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions.
- Assist in pediatric care, including toddler care when required, ensuring a safe and comforting environment for young patients.
- Participate in emergency response situations, including ventilating patients as needed during critical events.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to infection control standards.
