Duties
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Assist in various medical procedures within the ambulatory surgery center.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize knowledge of systems to effectively manage patient information and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in critical care and basic life support.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in pediatrics or critical care environments.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical-surgical principles.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Familiarity with ICU protocols and procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on empathy and support.
