Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Subcontractor Seamstress to join our team on a flexible,
part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have solid tailoring experience, a strong work
ethic, and an eagerness to learn and grow within our friendly, bridal-focused

Responsibilities
- Perform alterations and tailoring on various garments, with an emphasis on bridal
and formalwear (hems, side seams, appliqué work, etc.).
- Maintain high-quality standards in stitching, pressing, and finishing.
- Communicate with the team and occasionally clients regarding progress, special
requests, or fitting updates.
- Follow project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Keep the studio clean and organized, respecting all safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
* 15-30 hours per week availability (flexible schedule).
* Tailoring Experience: Demonstrated skill in garment construction and alteration
techniques.
* Willingness to Learn: Open to expanding skills and adapting to new methods or
equipment, receptive to feedback.
* Ethical & Dependable: Strong sense of integrity and reliability.
* Detail-Oriented & Punctual: Ability to focus on precision and timeliness.
* Reliable Transportation: Must be able to commute to/from our studio.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bridal/Wedding Sewing Experience: Familiarity with formal fabrics, lace, and the
unique demands of bridal gowns. * Interest in Fashion: Passion for style and design, especially in the bridal and special occasion niche.
* Sales Experience: Comfortable upselling or recommending additional
modifications when suitable.
* Ability to answer phone call inquiries with polite and professional tone.

- Rotating weekends
