Summary

Anaconda is looking for a Director, Azure Alliances to lead our AI strategy within Microsoft Azure. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role where you will shape our Azure growth strategy, drive direct revenue (renewals & expansion) and influence revenue (product integration & GTM initiatives), and establish Anaconda as a key player in Azure’s AI and data ecosystem.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

  • Own & Scale Our Azure Partnership:
    • Build relationships within Microsoft AI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, and cloud partnerships teams to deepen Anaconda’s footprint.
    • Ensure contract renewals and expansion, identifying ways to drive increased adoption within Azure.
  • Embed Anaconda Into Azure’s AI & Data Stack:
    • Champion new ways to integrate Anaconda into Azure’s AI (Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, AI Studio) and data services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, etc.).
    • Work closely with Product & Engineering to develop deeper technical integrations.
  • Foster a Self-Sustaining Developer Adoption Flywheel:
    • Ensure Anaconda’s AI/ML tools become a default choice for developers building on Azure.
    • Align product positioning to Azure’s evolving AI and ML strategy, making Anaconda indispensable to their ecosystem.
  • Become the Face of Anaconda for Azure Field Teams:
    • Enable Azure’s field sellers and customer-facing teams to understand how Anaconda enhances their AI and data services.
    • Develop training, content, and sales enablement programs that make Anaconda top-of-mind for Azure sellers.
  • Turn Azure Into a Growth Channel for Anaconda:
    • Evangelize Anaconda within Azure’s sales, customer engineering, and AI/data teams to ensure Azure sellers proactively introduce Anaconda into AI/ML deals.
    • Partner with Azure sales leadership to align go-to-market strategies and drive customer adoption.
  • Lead Strategic Marketing & Industry Engagement:
    • Own Anaconda’s presence at Azure-focused events (Microsoft Build, Ignite, AI & ML Summits, etc.), ensuring we maximize brand impact.
    • Spearhead joint marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and key industry partnerships to establish credibility.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in technical business development, AI partnerships, or cloud AI/ML sales.
  • Prior experience last 3 years working with GCP partner, proct, and field teams.
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud AI (Vertex AI, Gemini), BigQuery, and cloud-native AI workflows.
  • Proven ability to drive product adoption, renewals, and expansion in a cloud ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams to execute business strategies.

The US base salary range for this role is $225,000-$250,000 variable commission structure based on sales performance equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
