Description
The primary responsibilities of this position are: safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, examples to include but not limited to: tankers, vacuum trucks, end dump, and belly dump. Ensure all timesheets, field tickets, driver’s logs, and other paperwork as required, are completed accurately and in a timely fashion as described in the company handbook. Drivers must also make sure that specific jobs are completed to the satisfaction of the company that we are servicing. This position is considered to be safety sensitive. (FMCSR CFR 49, Parts 382, 391, 392, and 49 CFR Part 40)
Other important responsibilities of this position include: ensuring yourself, employees and equipment are adhering to safety standards set forth by Anadarko Dozer & Trucking, LLC, and local, state, and federal agencies. Abide all traffic, local, state, and federal laws. Must have or complete Safeland training.
In addition to the above, the responsibilities of this position include such duties, tasks, and activities as are customarily and traditionally associated with this position, and all other duties as assigned.
Physical aspects of this job include climbing (approximate heights of 8-10 feet), pushing/pulling weights of 5-50 lbs, sitting/squatting/driving/and entering and leaving truck multiple times per day at various intervals for varied times. Drivers must be able to work long hours and may be called back onto shift late into the evening hours. Drivers also need to be vigilant and aware of safety hazards around them. Hard hats, FRCs, and other safety gear must be worn at all times while on location.
The mental aspects of the job include the skills and abilities to communicate and work well with others, understand directions and communicate them with others, as well as understand the job tasks and instructions given, read and understand maps in order to arrive at location, which could be in a secluded area.
The qualifications for this position are: current Class A CDL required, tankers endorsements encouraged but not required, oilfield experience, and a current MVR that is agreeable with our company insurance.
The work schedule for this position is set forth by the Truck Supervisors. Example schedule could include 4 days on 2 days off but being available 24 hours a day while on duty. Employee schedules are subject to change based on business needs and the employee’s skill set.
