About the Role:
Walmart is looking for a Principal React Native Developer to join our team and help build high-performance, scalable mobile applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that impact millions of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Optimize performance, enhance user experience, and implement best practices for mobile development.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
- Integrate with backend services using GraphQL, REST APIs, and third-party libraries.
- Ensure application quality by implementing automated testing, debugging, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development to streamline deployment.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Strong understanding of mobile development best practices for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience with React Navigation, Firebase, Expo, and third-party API integrations.
- Knowledge of native modules and bridging (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
