Client : Financial
Location : Newark, NJ - REMOTE 100%
Term : 18 months
Type : Contract
People with Financial experience with investment banks will be considered over all else.
Required Skills :
- 10 years of experience in building core financial trading / reporting systems in core Java and / or Python - Scala is plus
- 5 years of Springboot framework-based REST API development experience - Apigee or equivalent API management is plus
- 5 years of AngularJS font end development experience
- Docker or equivalent containerization experience is plus
- CI / CD with Jenkins or equivalent experience working with DevOps is plus
- AWS Cloud experience using services such as EMR, S3, EC2, ALB, Kinesis, Lambda, CloudWatch, Fargate - Hadoop / Spark is plus
- AWS Arora or Postgres experience
- AWS RedShift, SnowFlake or equivalent data warehouse experience is plus
- Basic SQL knowledge and Basic knowledge of working in Linux / Unix and Windows environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives both independently and within teams
- Proven ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment
- Clear communication and interpersonal skill
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field
