What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker Level 2 position at Anahuac ISD?
Position: Maintenance Worker Level 2
School: Maintenance Department
Work Hours: 217 days per year 8.5 hours/day
Salary/Benefits: Minimum $16.28/hour plus insurance, sick leave, and retirement
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver’s license
Special Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and operating principles of motors

Knowledge of current electrical codes and ordinances

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to operate riding or power mower, power tools, and hand tools
Experience preferred
