Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data to optimize routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations, including scheduling and routing of shipments.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions and updates.
• Utilize logistics software for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of deliveries and transportation activities.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance overall logistics performance.
• Maintain a high level of phone etiquette while interacting with clients, drivers and vendors.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Experience in supply chain management or related fields is advantageous.
