Job Summary: Anakeesta is seeking an HVACR Technician who is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the the. The technician must also possess Refrigeration certification and credentials. This role is crucial in ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff, particularly in high-traffic areas such as attractions, restaurants, and administrative buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVACR systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and ductwork.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve HVACR system malfunctions and failures in a timely manner.
- Respond to service calls and emergencies, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
System Monitoring:
- Monitor and adjust HVACR systems to maintain desired temperature and air quality levels throughout the park.
- Utilize building management systems (BMS) to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all HVACR work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Prepare reports on system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate HVACR needs for special events and seasonal changes.
- Provide training and support to junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVACR technician, preferably in a commercial or large-scale environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVACR systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
