The Job 

A Lift Operator Supervisor directs Lift Operators to help guests safely and efficiently load, ride, and unload from the chair lifts and gondola cabins. They assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the machinery/equipment, and always greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.   

Your Responsibilities 

• Responsible for training Lift Operators in guest safety at the chairlift 

• Greet and engage every guest, every time 

• Assists and directs Lift Operators in daily setup and routine maintenance of lift areas. 

• Assists all guests in loading, riding, and unloading of the chairlifts 

• Records information and completes Guest Incident Reports by assisting the guest as necessary and notifies the Lift Manager of any such occurrences 

• Monitor the operation of the lift continually and notify the appropriate personnel of any problems or unusual conditions 

• Complete all required paperwork legibly and in a timely manner 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred. 

• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude – even in stressful situations. 

• Serious-minded when it comes to safety and follows all safety rules. 

• Able to stand for the entire workday 

• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions including but not limited to snow, extreme cold, rain and wind. 

• Able to lift 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, crawl and stand for long periods of time. 

• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and all weather conditions. 

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and/or evenings as necessary. We are a 7-day a week operation open into the late evening.
