Anakeesta is seeking Retail Supervisors that support the management team by training and guiding retail staff to represent the originality and authenticity of all the products that we offer at Anakeesta. They will be a role model to sales associates, and knowledgeable about all items and products.
Responsibilities
- Supervise retail staff
- Coach and develop staff to meet sales, service and standards objectives
- Consistently ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and marked
- Continuous awareness/communication of inventory amounts, top selling items and low selling items
- Work on store displays
- Personal knowledge of merchandise, as well as ability to train associates in knowledge of merchandise
- Coach, counsel, encourage, recruit, train, and discipline employees
- Evaluate on-the-job performance
- Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed
- Maintain inventory
- Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand
- Recognize associates that are performing well, as well as those that are improving
- Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards
- Train staff to use Point of Sale system for all transactions, inventory, ordering, and reconciliation
- Utilize information technology to record sales figures for data analysis and forward planning.
- Ensure standards for quality, guest service, health and safety are met
- Ensure guests are taken care of in a polite and courteous manner
- Maintain store's cleanliness and health and safety measures
- Assist in creating schedules and organize and distribute staff schedules
- Partner with Retail Manager to conduct staff meetings
- Help retail sales staff achieve sales targets
- Manage different departments within the store
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues with professionalism
- Always makes a professional presentation both in dress and mannerism
- Clock in and out using Point of Sales system to record actual hours worked
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Previous leadership experience in sales and retail
- Experience with cash transactions and credit cards
- Experience in stocking and displaying products
- Great customer/guest experience background
- Knowledge of and previous experience using Point of Sales
- Ability to coach and direct team members
- Ability to address performance/behaviors and have conversations regarding accountability.
- Able to work in all-weather conditions.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to complete CPR/AED training
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground
