Anakim Consulting has an immediate need for a React Developer with Senior/Subject Matter Expert (SME) level experience to support a federal government contract environment. This position requires expertise with UI/UX. Qualified candidates with DHS Suitability preferred.

Location: On-Site

Job responsibilities include:

• Work alongside M365 team and also support a separate development team improving usability and interface for the customer's application
• Support a solution built in AWS using ECS, Fargate, and Cloudbees and React front-end
• Provide technical and/or management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
• Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives
• Direct and control activities for client
• Maintain overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure technical requirements are met
• Interface with senior management and support client meetings and negotiations, as requested
• Provide domain knowledge and support critical decision-making impacting project implementation
• Supervise others, as required

Requirements include:

• U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
• Current DHS Suitability or eligibility to obtain secure access
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline
  • Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 9 years of front-end development experience and technical expertise with React
  • Additional years of related experience required for SME level consideration
• Expert level UI/UX skills including improving usability and interface for applications
• Experience with automated deployment using AWS cloud solutions and container technologies including:
  • Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS)
  • AWS Fargate
• Experience supporting advanced CI/CD with CloudBees platform
• Demonstrated experience working closely with client stakeholders and meeting stated goals for project implementation
• Experience supervising technical team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Local to Washington DC area and availability to support on-site schedule

Preferred experience:

• Prior experience supporting DHS customer
• Current/Recent DHS Suitability
