We are looking for electro/mechanical assemblers with:
- 1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.
- 1st Shift
- All applicants must be team players highly motivated to learn the complex assembly requirements of microwave systems.
- This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.
- Communication skills and a high energy and commitment to quality products are extremely important.
- This role includes working on continuous improvement teams along with development engineering and manufacturing.
- Candidates should have soldering skills per IPC-610
- Must be a US citizen and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and documentation.
- Good computer skills
- Commitment to learn and develop new skills
- Security clearance is required (application will be done through ADI)
- Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
- In process inspection and self-inspection.
- Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies.
- Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guidelines.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and blueprints for standard and complex products.
- Assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications/process
- Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps
- Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment
- Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required
- Excellent hand / finger dexterity & eye / hand coordination.
- Competency using computers is required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities.
- Demonstrate a keen awareness of cleanroom safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
