Level 5 Rework Assembly Operator
Position Overview:
Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Assembly Operator to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
We are looking for 2nd shift electro/mechanical assemblers with:
- 3-5 years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.
- All applicants must be team players and highly motivated
- This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.
- Communication skills and a high energy and commitment to quality products are extremely important.
- Candidates should have soldering skills per IPC-610
- Must be a US citizen and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance.
- 3-5 years' experience
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and rework instructions.
- High attention to detail with proficient use of a computer
- Understanding of RF components and familiarity with military/defense standards beneficial
- Conduct precise rework and repairs on semiconductor RF components identified as non-conforming, ensuring their compliance with defense industry standards.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for tasks including wire bonding, die attach corrections, soldering reflows, and component replacement.
- Accurately interpret and follow rework instructions, technical drawings, and process documentation.
- Inspect reworked components under microscopes and utilize inspection equipment to validate repairs against rigorous defense-related specifications.
- Document rework processes clearly, accurately logging corrections, component replacements, and inspection outcomes.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to resolve recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
- Maintain cleanroom cleanliness standards and ensure proper handling of sensitive semiconductor components.
- Immediately report anomalies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
