Role Overview:
Join our team as a Level 4 Manufacturing Test Technician. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing test processes for advanced RF and mmW products. This hands-on position focuses on testing and troubleshooting sophisticated microwave modules, offering you the chance to work alongside our design engineering team to refine designs and test methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) by testing and troubleshooting medium to highly complex microwave modules.
- Collaborate directly with design engineers to enhance designs and testing methods.
- Utilize knowledge of microwave measurements and equipment such as Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, and Oscilloscopes.
- Operate both individually and within a team to perform detailed testing and troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams during product introductions and train operators in our expanding module manufacturing group.
- Set up and calibrate test stations.
- Review and summarize test data for review with engineering team.
- Assemble breadboards, test fixtures, and wiring harnesses.
- High school diploma with 3-5 years of experience in microwave electronics, an associate degree, or equivalent Military training and experience.
- Eligibility for government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
- Practical knowledge of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and RF signal sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic hand soldering skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination for tasks requiring precision under a microscope.
- Familiarity with ESD Control Plans and Safety Procedures.
