Federal Account Executive

This position can be located in either the Massachusetts/New Hampshire area or the DC Metro area.
What you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Account Management:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and enhance relationships with TSA, Airports, Airlines, and other Federal agencies, while serving as a key point of contact, identifying growth opportunities, and facilitating communication between Federal agencies and internal teams to ensure alignment on security screening needs and initiatives.
- Capture Planning and Proposal Development:
Develop and implement capture strategies to secure new business opportunities by defining win themes, value propositions, and competitive differentiators, assessing and mitigating risks, leading the proposal development process, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key aviation industry stakeholders, engage with them to understand their needs and tailor solutions, maintain membership in professional organizations, and represent Analogic at industry events to promote its capabilities and initiatives.
- Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis to understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies to position Analogic favorably, and monitor industry trends to stay informed about the competitive landscape.
- Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular reports, including weekly bookings and revenue forecasts, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in applications such as Teams and Salesforce.
Your Experience/Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years proven experience in capture management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the aviation security industry.
- Strong knowledge of TSA regulations, policies, and programs and familiarity with federal procurement processes and regulation, as typically acquired through working with government agencies and/or regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Certification in capture management, business development, or a related field a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically to meet with stakeholders/customers and attend events.
