What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Operator position at ANALYGENCE Inc?
ANALYGENCE has an opportunity for a Data Entry Operator supporting Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) with the processing of Standard Equipment Repair Data (SERD) and providing related Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). SERDs are a set of data codes used to manage and track the maintenance and repair of equipment within the Navy's supply chain. They are utilized in the Navy's logistics and supply system to categorize and document repairable items, ensuring that maintenance actions are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. This position performs the following duties.
- Responsible to monitor the lifecycle of equipment, from procurement to repair, tracking costs and maintenance status, ultimately ensuring the operational readiness of Navy assets
- Requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources
- Requires skill in operating an alphanumeric keyboard, and an understanding of transcribing procedures and relevant data entry equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
