Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor and thought partner to business leaders, providing guidance on policy interpretation, professional development, and employee relations.
- Use HR analytics to provide data-driven insights on employee trends, utilization, retention risks, and engagement levels.
- Lead and/or participate in global HR projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience; provide local perspective to HR projects and initiatives.
Talent Management & Development:
- Oversee the annual review process, ensuring that consulting staff receive meaningful feedback and development opportunities.
- Lead high quality performance and compensation discussions, guide compensation data analysis, and provide guidance around promotions, career development, and performance concerns.
- Facilitate talent development through regular check-ins and feedback loops with consulting teams and firm leadership.
- Support onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless transition for new hires into the consulting environment.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for consulting staff and their advisors, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and enhancing the employee experience.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations and consult to leaders on recommendations.
- Counsel employees and leaders on HR-related topics, including policy and benefits interpretation, performance issues and terminations, involving local employment counsel as needed.
Workplace Culture:
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure fair and equitable hiring, promotions, and talent development processes.
- Support initiatives that promote career growth, ensuring employees have access to development opportunities and clear pathways for advancement.
- Identify trends, address concerns, and implement best practices to strengthen workplace culture.
- Facilitate conversations with business leaders, managers, and employees that foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
- An ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a consulting, professional services, or fast-paced corporate environment.
- Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Team player and collaborator, with adaptability and flexibility to contribute across HR as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An inclusive and growth-oriented mindset and excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general U.S. employment law preferred.
- Proficiency in Workday preferred.
- Occasional travel required.
