Contract Sr Data Scientist - Pharma

Leading pharma company is seeking a Contractor as a Sr Manager, Data Scientist & Advanced Analytics that will drive complex analytics to answer key business questions, generate disease/treatment insight and support HCP lead generation. Must have MMM experience in pharma!

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of statistical and machine learning models to quantify the effect and interactions that affect patients’ and their healthcare journeys
• Develop statistical model-based Omni-channel marketing solutions based on rich and complicated healthcare data to optimize the delivery of messages and maximize the impact across different channels
• Conduct patient journey analyses, HCP segmentation, marketing mix optimization, forecasts. Sample projects:
• Develop attribution model solutions to optimize the delivery and timing of messages and maximize the impact across different channels
• Develop patient journey experience to understand key symptoms led to diagnoses
• Translate technical information to non-technical business users

Requirements:

• Degree in quant field
• 5 years of work experience with statistical and predictive modeling, preferably in consulting, healthcare, or biopharmaceuticals
• MMM in pharma
• Deep experience with claims data (e.g. IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, etc.) and lab data
• Experience with digital marketing data
• Experience in marketing analytics such as channel optimization, ROI, tactic impact, and promotional measurement
• Well-versed in SQL and R/Python. Prefer experience with R
• Well-versed in building models (e.g., regression, decision tree, SVM, clustering) based on large data (at least have worked with data over 50GB) from end to end, from methodology to execution
