Senior Fixed Income Software Developer

New York-based alternative investment adviser specializing in asset-based and structured credit investments across North America and Europe seeks a Senior Analytics Developer with 10 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading, pricing, and risk management systems. This role requires close collaboration with trading, risk, and modeling teams to enhance system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize fixed income and equity trading, pricing, and risk systems .
  • Work closely with trading, risk, and quantitative teams to refine analytics.
  • Implement cloud-based, service-oriented architecture and market data integration.

Qualifications

Technical Skills :

  • C# and / or Python expertise; strong database query proficiency.
  • Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems .
  • GUI development experience is a plus.

    • Financial Knowledge :

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, trading, and risk management .
  • Familiarity with market data providers (Bloomberg, Markit).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills .
  • Ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
