Specializing in Trauma-Focused Equine-Assisted Therapy and other experiential approaches, we empower individuals, families, and groups to build resilience and heal from trauma. Our inclusive space offers diverse therapeutic services, including EMDR, TF-CBT, CFTSI, Neurosequential Model of Therapuetics, and Trauma-Focused equine-assisted psychotherapy, as well as specialized programs for veterans, first responders, LGBTQ , and youth.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LMHC) at Anam Cara Counseling in La Porte, Indiana. The Therapist will be responsible for treatment planning, social work, case management, mental health counseling, and family therapy. Some work-from-home, telehealth options are available to accommodate the hybrid nature of this role.
Qualifications
- Treatment Planning, Case Management, and Family Therapy skills
- Experience in Social Work and Mental Health Counseling
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapy approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.)
- Experience with and interest in trauma-focused equine-assisted therapy is a plus
