The New Orleans office of ours is seeking an associate with three or more years of bankruptcy, workout, and / or relevant commercial litigation experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group.
The position involves representing lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, and businesses in a variety of restructuring and insolvency matters with default resolutions, collections and repossessions, loan workouts, and bankruptcy-related matters in federal and state court. Knowledge of real estate, maritime, and / or energy law are a plus.
This is a terrific opportunity to gain sophisticated hands-on experience in a thriving bankruptcy practice with significant client contact. Academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills are sought to assume responsibility in this active and diverse practice.
