Position : Senior Project Scheduler
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to take on a leadership role in planning and scheduling for large-scale commercial projects or smaller, specialized projects. This individual will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery. The role requires strong expertise in scheduling techniques, analysis, and construction processes, with a focus on eliminating design discrepancies, improving planning efficiency, and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of detailed project schedules in collaboration with project teams and trade partners.
- Assemble and analyze project information to prepare clear and actionable scheduling documents.
- Monitor and update project schedules in accordance with departmental procedures, including design deliverables, procurement, and construction timelines.
- Produce internal and external project status reports and forecasts.
- Apply advanced planning, scheduling, and cost techniques to evaluate, analyze, and resolve project challenges.
- Create conceptual schedules with minimal input, refining them in collaboration with the team.
- Maintain a database of activity durations and overall schedule benchmarks.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor schedule updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project progress.
- Develop alternate schedules and progress measurement strategies in conjunction with the project team.
- Support ongoing projects by identifying areas of improvement, delays, and opportunities for optimization.
- Recommend workarounds to address challenges and keep projects on track.
- Perform other duties as requested by project management.
Qualifications :
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
